When I was invited on the 2001 Mallory and Irvine Research Expedition on Everest's North side, I thought that I’d just be supporting the expedition by shooting and editing video at basecamp for our group's 'cybercast' of the expedition. When four members of the team were sidetracked from their summit by the highest rescue in history, I decided a documentary had to be made. ‘Found on Everest’ was a finalist at MountainFilm in Telluride as well as film festivals in Poprad, Slovakia, Kathmandu, Nepal, and many others.

Chris Jordan is a fine art photographer who tends to work in themes around the environment. His latest project focuses on the island of Midway in the Pacific where an incredibly symbolic tragedy is playing out as we speak.
